In the east of the country Argentina borders on Paraguay and Brazil. Within this border triangle the famous waterfalls of Iguazú are located which are counted as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. The entire border in the west of Argentina stretches along the impressive Andean mountains with impressive views at the majestic Aconcagua (6.962 m), the highest mountain of South America. Here one can find the highest volcanoes of the world as well as numerous skiing areas.
